History
The Moca FC is a professional football club of Dominican Republic located in Moca, Espaillat Province. Moca FC was the team with most championships in the defunct Major League (League that was predecessor of the Dominican Professional League), founded in 1971 and currently participates in the LDF (Dominican Republic first division), which has been the club with the longest soccer Current clubs of the LDF and this in turn has had the prowess of being the best cataloged Club so much so that it is denominated that its province is the "House of the Dominican Football".
Their classic rivals are Atlético San Cristóbal and Cibao

Youth academy
Moca has historically been a developing of many outstanding soccer players for the Dominican Republic national team, among these are: Jonathan Faña,Richard Dabas,Jean Carlos López,Ernesto Trinidad and many more. In the current 2023 season Moca has several young players already established in its senior team such as Enrique de Jesus, Alfredo Cortorreal, Simón Veras and Ronaldo Pena. These last three have been former members of the Dominican Republic national under-20 football team
Moca FC currently has its affiliated/reserve U-23 team in "LDF Expansion", a semi-professional development league that is unofficially considered the second division of the DR. Participation in the academy is free for all players and participants are eligible to be signed to the Moca FC senior team as a Homegrown Player.
The academy also operates a soccer development program to identify players playing for local youth clubs and promote them to the academy.The club also operates the "Escuela Jonathan Fana", a pre-academy feeder program for players aged 8–14 to provide training and development for advanced local players and identify potential academy players, as well as the Moca Juniors Program, a special development program to provide supplemental development for U-12 players playing for other Moca-area youth clubs.
