Mohammadabad-e Alam
Mohammadabad-e Alam (Persian: محمداباد علم, also Romanized as Moḩammadābād-e ʿAlam)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Mahyar Rural District of the Central District of Qaen County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,395 in 323 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,589 people in 415 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,575 people in 449 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
