Mreenal Deshraj
Mreenal Deshraj (born 2 August 1978)[1][2] is an Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi films and television.[3][4][5] She is best known for her role as Jahnvi Malhotra in the Star Plus show Ishqbaaaz and Rohini in the Colors TV show Naagin.[6][7]

Early life
Mreenal was born in a Hindu family.[8] Mreenal graduated in Fashion Designing from National Institute of Fashion Technology.[9] She started learning acting from Prithvi Theatre. Mreenal married Ashim Matthan on 5 July 2022.[10][11][12]
Career
Mreenal started her career as an actor with theater veteran Nadira Babbar's play Ekjut. After seven plays, Mreenal got her first television role in the Balaji Telefilms show Kahin To Hoga.[13] As the negative character Shipra Arora, she soon became a household name. Later she appeared in Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai, Raat Hone Ko Hai and Ek Ladki Anjaani Si (TV series)[14]
In 2000, she got her first break in films, she played the supporting character of Hema in the film Dr Mukta.[15] After this, in the year 2005, she played the lead role in the film Gilli Gilli Aata and in 2006, she played a supporting role in Tathastu and the role of an office assistant in the film Vivah.[16][17] Mreenal had her breakthrough with the role of Sejal in Sujata (TV series) and Padmini in Doli Saja Ke[18]
In the year 2009, mreenal played supporting role in the film Runway (2009 film), along with episodic roles in the television serial Ssshhhh...Koi Hai.[19] From 2011 to 2015, she played the role of Lead Antagonist in the serials Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi and Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap[20] along with this she did some episodic roles in Adalat.[21] In 2016, mreenal played the character of Jahnvi Malhotra Singh in Ishqbaaaz which made her quite famous.[22]
In the year 2019, she played the lead antagonist in the third season of Naagin.[23]
