The DPR was submitted and it proposed the cost of 11.99 crore (US$1.5 million) for the project.[3] The municipality allotted 1 crore (US$130,000) and 3 crore (US$380,000) respectively for the development of lake in 2019-20 and 2020-21 budgets respectively.[4] The Government of Gujarat approved 11.5 crore (US$1.4 million) for the development of lake in 2022 under Amrit Lake scheme.[1]

Proposal

The preliminary development proposal includes a cordon wall, a garden and a children's park along with a storm water drainage system for the lake.[3] As of July 2023, the development work is not started.2022.[1][5]
