Najmowo

Najmowo [najˈmɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zbiczno, within Brodnica County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Zbiczno, 9 km (6 mi) north-west of Brodnica, and 58 km (36 mi) north-east of Toruń.

There is a train station in the village.

History

During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), Najmowo was one of the sites of executions of Poles, carried out by the Germans in 1939 as part of the Intelligenzaktion.[2]
