History

The station was opened on 1 October 1979 as Higashi-Neyagawa Station (東寝屋川駅). The station changed its name to the present one on 16 March 2019.[1]

Station numbering was introduced in March 2018 with Neyagawakōen being assigned station number JR-H32.[2][3]

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 4,381 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[4]
