Professional wrestling career

Early career (2018–2023)

Wayne began wrestling during childhood, being trained by his father Buddy Wayne.[4][5] He debuted on April 27, 2018.

On July 31, 2022, Wayne wrestled in a Four Corners match during the Ric Flair's Last Match event.[6]

All Elite Wrestling (2023–present)

On February 12, 2022, Wayne was offered an All Elite Wrestling contract by longtime friend Darby Allin during DEFY wrestling's 5th Anniversary event.[4][7] Wayne made his AEW Dynamite debut on July 12, 2023 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, losing to Swerve Strickland.[8] At WrestleDream on October 1, Wayne turned heel for the first time in his wrestling career against Allin to side with Christian Cage during Cage's and Allin's match for the AEW TNT Championship.[9] On the October 18 episode of Dynamite, in a sitdown interview with his mother and Jim Ross, Wayne disowned his parents and declared that Cage is his new father figure. Shortly after the interview, he was assaulted by Allin and had his tooth knocked out.[10][11]

Wayne is a third generation wrestler, being the son of Buddy and Shayna Wayne, and the grandson of "Moondog" Ed Moretti.[4][12][7][10] Buddy Wayne passed away at the age of 50 on June 17, 2017 from heart attack.[13][14]
