North Cotswolds is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[2] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the next general election.
Contents
The seat will cover northern parts of the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty. It will comprise the following areas:
- Just under half (by electorate) of the, to be abolished, constituency of The Cotswolds, including the towns of Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Minchinhampton
- Communities between Cheltenham and Gloucester, including Brockworth and Churchdown, transferred from Tewkesbury
- Northern-most parts of the constituency of Stroud, including Painswick
