Pedro Alemañ

Pedro Alemañ Serna (born 21 March 2002) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Sparta Rotterdam.

Career

Alemañ is a youth product of the Spanish clubs Celtic Elche, Elche and Valencia. In the summer of 2020, he signed his first professional contract with the club, and started training with the senior team in preseason.[1] He began his senior career with Valencia Mestalla in 2020, where he became a mainstay on the team. On 30 December 2022, he moved to the Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivisie with a contract until 2025.[2] He made his senior and professional debut with Sparta as a late substitute in a 4–0 Eredivisie loss to Ajax on 19 February 2023.[3]

International career

Alemañ was called up to a set of training camp with the Spain U18s.[4]

Playing style

Alemañ is a left-footed midfielder who plays as an 8. He changes pace, reads the game well, playmakes and makes a lot of assists. He is very technical with his left foot, and has the fitness to play many matches.[5]

Personal life

Outside of football, Alemañ has a degree in mechanical engineering from the "Colegio de Mas Camarena".[6][7]
