Peniculus (crustacean)

Peniculus is a genus of marine copepods in the family Pennellidae.[1] They occur worldwide and typically parasitize coastal or epipelagic fish, with the exception of Peniculus hokutoae that was found parasitizing a mesopelagic myctophid, Symbolophorus evermanni.[2]
