Pirinçlik is a village in the Ardeşen District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 405 (2021).[2]

History

According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Sifat. According to an Ottoman source (1681), name of the village is Ghatvani. Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[3]

Geography

The village is located 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) away from Ardeşen.
