Platygramme

Platygramme is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Graphidaceae consisting of about 30 species.[1] The genus was circumscribed by Antoine Laurent Apollinaire Fée in 1874.[2]

Several features characterise the genus Platygramme: the brown ascospores, an inspersed hymenium, and lirellate fruiting bodies in which some of the tips of the exciple are carbonised and form lamellae (plates).[3]
