Pope Township, Fayette County, Illinois
Pope Township is one of twenty townships in Fayette County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 213, and it contained 93 housing units.[2] It was formed from part of Kaskaskia Township in March 1878.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 30.28 square miles (78.4 km2), of which 25.41 square miles (65.8 km2) (or 83.92%) is land and 4.87 square miles (12.6 km2) (or 16.08%) is water.[2]
