The club was founded in 1922 in the Miraflores District, Lima.[1]
The club was the winner of the 1956 and 1966 Peruvian Segunda Division.[2][3]
The club has played at the highest level of Peruvian football on six occasions, from 1957 until 1971 when it was relegated.[4]
