At the National Census of 2011, its population was 9,348 in 2,144 households.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 10,211 in 2,837 households. The largest of its eight villages was Qaranjik-e Khvajeh Khan, with 3,414 people.[2]
