Qeru Chay

Qeru Chay (Persian: قرو چاي, also Romanized as Qerū Chāy; also known as Karreh Chīyeh, Kurreh Chīa, Qūrī Chā’ī, Qūrīchā’ī, and Qūrī Chāy)[3] is a village in Quri Chay Rural District of the Central District of Dehgolan County, Kurdistan province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,987 in 713 households, when it was in the former Yeylan District of Ghorveh County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,906 people in 842 households, by which time the district had separated from the county in the establishment of Dehgolan County.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,973 people in 913 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
