Rho Fornacis
Rho Fornacis (ρ For) is a star in the constellation of Fornax. It is a yellow giant with an apparent magnitude of +5.54[2] and a distance of approximately 270 light years. The star has a spectral type of G6III, and is notable in that it is located in the Milky Way's thick disk, along with Arcturus and Epsilon Fornacis. The star also has low metallicity, a characteristic of its location. The star is aged about 5.8 billion years old, with a significant amount of uncertainty.
