Robert Lynn (water polo)

Robert Lynn (born February 7, 1967) is an American water polo player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 2000 Summer Olympics.[1]

Early life

Lynn was born in Long Beach, CA. He attended Wilson High School in Long Beach, California. In high school, Lynn was named All-American every year in attendance, and CIF Player of the Year.

Water polo career

On the USC Men's Waterpolo team, Lynn held the scoring record for 20 years before it was broken.[2]

Lynn played in the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics and was a member of the Men's National Team program from 1989 to 2001.[3] He played professionally in Croatia, Italy, Greece and France for 13 years.[3] Lynn was a member of the Men's National Team program from 1989 to 2001.[2]

Coaching career

In 2006 and 2007, he was named head coach of USA Water Polo's Youth National Team. Then in 2007, he was named assistant coach of the USA Men's Olympic Water Polo Team, as well as head coach for Long Beach Wilson boys' swimming, and Marina high School water polo.[3][2]
