Sealdah–Agartala Kanchanjunga Express

It is named after the Kangchenjunga peak of the Himalayan Mountains of Sikkim which is visible from New Jalpaiguri, as previously when this train was introduced in the 1960s it was between Sealdah and New Jalpaiguri (Siliguri).

Then the train is hauled by Diesel Loco Shed, Siliguri-based WDP-4B Locomotive from Jagiroad till Agartala. A banker is usually attached between Lumding and Badarpur.
