Shahanjarin District

Shahanjarin District (Persian: بخش شاهنجرین) is in Dargazin County, Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shahanjarin.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Darjazin-e Olya Rural District of the former Qorveh-e Darjazin District of Razan County) was 16,900 in 4,065 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 16,536 people in 4,708 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 14,392 inhabitants in 4,591 households.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Dargazin County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Qorveh-e Dargazin as its capital.[3]
