Shivand Rural District

Shivand Rural District (Persian: دهستان شیوند) is in Qarun District of Dezpart County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Nowshivand,[2] whose population at the National Census of 2016 was 277 people in 65 households.[3]

Prior to the formation of the rural district, its constituent villages were in Donbaleh Rud-e Jonubi Rural District of the former Dehdez District of Izeh County. In July 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of the new Dezpart County and divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Dehdez as its capital and only city.[2]
