Shweta Sharda

Shweta Sharda (Hindi: श्वेता शार्दा); (born May 24, 2000) is an Indian model, dancer and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe India 2023.[1][2] She will represent India at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant to be held in El Salvador on 18 November 2023.

Early life and career

Sharda works as a model and dancer. She moved to Mumbai at the age of 16 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer. She has appeared in several reality shows, including Dance India Dance, Dance Deewane, and Dance+. She was also a choreographer on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.[3] Sharda is a self-taught dancer and is known for her versatility and technical skills. She is also a choreographer and has choreographed several dance routines for television shows and music videos.[4][5]

Sharda recently featured in the music video of the song "Mast Aankhein" by Jubin Nautiyal and Tulsi Kumar opposite Bollywood actor Shantanu Maheshwari.[6][7]

Miss Diva 2023

On 16 August 2023, Sharda was confirmed as one of the 16 official contestants for the Miss Diva 2023 competition.[8]

During the competition, Sharda won the following awards:[9]

  • Top 6 – Miss Rampwalk

At the grand finale held on 28 August 2023 at The LaLit, Mumbai, Sharda was crowned by outgoing Miss Diva Universe 2022, Divita Rai as Miss Diva Universe 2023.[10]
