Staikos Vergetis

Staikos Vergetis (Greek: Στάικος Βεργέτης; born 11 July 1976) is a Greek professional football manager who is the current manager of Indian Super League club Punjab FC

Managerial career

OF Ierapetra

On 29 June 2021, Greek Football League club OF Ierapetra announced Vergetis as the new manager of the club.[3]

Punjab FC

In August 2022, I-League club Punjab FC appointed Vergetis as head coach.[4] He led the club winning the I-League trophy in 2023,[5] which ensured their promotion to 2023–24 Indian Super League.[6][7][8][9] He later managed the team in 2023 Indian Super Cup in Kerala, in which they won a game and lost two within group stage.[10][11]
