Tate Smith

Tate Aaron Smith OAM (born 19 November 1981) is an Australian sprint canoeist who competed in the late 2000s. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated in the semifinals of the K-4 1000 m event.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was part of the Australian K-4 team that won the gold medal.

In July 2014 Smith tested positive for the banned substance Stanozolol, receiving a two-year ban.[2]
