Tayahatun, Fatih
Tayahatun is a neighborhood in the district of Fatih, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its name comes from "Daye Hatun", Taya Hatun or Tayakadın is the name given to the foster mothers of princes in the Ottoman Empire.[1]

Tayahatun is located next to the Istanbul shopping center, where the popular Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar are located. Therefore, there are many shops and stores in this neighborhood, such as: Rococo İş Merkezi, Hürriyet Çarşısı, Tarihi Kürkçü Han and etc.

Daye Hatun Mosque was built in 1485 by Ümmü Gülsün Hatun, the wet nurse of Fatih Sultan Mehmet. His renovated domed mausoleum is also in the mosque courtyard.The other name is Tarakçılar Mosque.[2]
Mahmutpasha Hamamı - was built between1466-1467 as part of the Mahmutpaşa complex. The structure, which is one of the oldest baths in Istanbul, is currently serving as a bazaar.[3]
