The Folk Implosion is a compilation EP by American indie rock band The Folk Implosion.[1] It was released in 1996 on the Communion Label.[2][1] The release consisted of songs from the band's 1995 single "Palm of My Hand", 1994 EP Electric Idiot, and two other unreleased songs.[3]

The Folk Implosion
On a tan background is a red-orange spiky shape, signifying an explosion. In front of this is what appears to be two people, each with one eye and one arm, playing a black guitar, which makes up their bodies. At the bottom of the cover is a black box, reading "The Folk Implosion" in the same tan as the background, and "Lou Barlow 50/50 John Davis."
