The Rural Museum - A Collection of Traditional Farming Tools

The Rural Museum, inaugurated in 1996, is an ethnological collection of farmsteads designed to teach the evolution of life in the field. The museum is located in the town of Palau-Sator (in the Baix Empordà region), annexed to Mas Pou Restaurant.

The Collection

The museum displays a collection of traditional farming equipment and tools once used by local farmers. The museum features carriages, carts, and ancient trades. There are areas within the museum devoted to chores and items traditionally found in conventional rural farmhouses.[1]
