Vaippu Sthalam
It is one of the shrines of the Vaippu Sthalams sung by Tamil Saivite Nayanar Sambandar and Sundarar.[3]

The presiding deity is known as Valisvarar. The Goddess is known as Aram Valartha Nayaki.[2][3]
