Vatican's list of films

In 1995, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of cinema, the Vatican compiled a list called Some Important Films (Italian: Alcuni film importanti). The 45 movies are divided into three categories: religion, values, and art. Ordet, Schindler's List, and The Leopard are examples of films included on the Vatican's list of films.
