Viru, Iran
Viru (Persian: ويرو, also Romanized as Vīrū)[3] is a village in Qaleh Miran Rural District of the Central District of Ramian County, Golestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 762 in 175 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 914 people in 223 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 815 people in 225 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
