Genera
This is a list of the genera in the Xanthopyreniaceae, based on a 2022 review and summary of fungal classification by Wijayawardene and colleagues.[3] Following the genus name is the taxonomic authority (those who first circumscribed the genus; standardized author abbreviations are used), year of publication, and the number of species:
- Collemopsidium Nyl. (1881)[4] – 27 spp.
- Didymellopsis (Sacc.) Clem. & Shear (1931)[5] – 6 spp.
- Frigidopyrenia Grube[6] – 1 sp.
- Rhagadodidymellopsis Fern.-Brime, Gaya, Llimona & Nav.-Ros. (2020)[7] – 1 sp.
- Xanthopyrenia Bachm.[8] – 4 spp.
- Zwackhiomacromyces Etayo & van den Boom[9] – 2 spp.
- Zwackhiomyces Grube & Hafellner[10] – 35 spp.
