Xyriel Manabat

Xyriel Manabat (Tagalog: [ˈsaɪɾjɛl mɐnɐˈbat]; born January 27, 2004) is a Filipino actress. A former child actress, she is best known for playing child characters in television shows such as Agua Bendita, Momay, 100 Days to Heaven, and Hawak Kamay.

Personal life

Manabat was born on January 27, 2004, in Taytay, Rizal to Daryl Jake Manabat and Elizabeth Dianne M. Manabat.[2]

In June 2020, Manabat graduated from Golden Faith Academy with honors.[3][4]

Career

Manabat began acting in 2009 after joining Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Idol, finishing third runner-up in the talent competition. After playing minor roles in several shows, her breakthrough role came in 2010 when she was cast as young Agua and Bendita in Agua Bendita. She later played the title role in the series Momay.[5][6] After Momay concluded, she appeared in the series Noah.

Manabat was awarded Best Child Actress during the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival for her role in the comedy film, Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na 'To!).

In 2011, she was cast as the younger version of Anna Manalastas in 100 Days To Heaven. In 2014, she was cast in the family drama series Hawak Kamay. In 2017, she appeared in a guest role as the younger version of Maja Salvador's character in the series Wildflower.

After a six-year hiatus in acting roles, Manabat returned to acting in 2023 and was cast as an antagonist in the Kapamilya Channel series Dirty Linen.[7] She is also set to appear in the upcoming series Senior High.[8]
