Yeşilyurt, Malatya

Yeşilyurt (Kurdish: Çirmik)[2] is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey.[3] Its area is 953 km2,[4] and its population is 341,654 (2022).[1] At the 2013 reorganisation part of the former central district of Malatya Province was added to the district.[5] It covers the western part of the agglomeration of Malatya and the adjacent countryside. The mayor is Mehmet Çınar (AKP).
