Yingshang County

Yingshang County (simplified Chinese: 颍上县; traditional Chinese: 潁上縣; pinyin: Yǐngshàng Xiàn) is a county in the northwest of Anhui province, China. It is under the jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Fuyang. The Huai River, which frequently floods, forms part of the county's southern border.

It is located in the northeastern part of the province and is known for its scenic spots, such as the famous Yingshang Huangshan Scenic Area. The county is also known for its agricultural produce, including rice, wheat, and rapeseed. Yingshang County has a rich history, dating back to the Han dynasty, and is home to several cultural relics, including the Shouxian Ancient City and the Qinglong Ancient Cave. The county has a population of around 470,000 people and covers an area of approximately 1,200 square kilometers.

Yingshang is an agricultural county with wheat and rice as the main crops, and a million tons of food produced each year from 2007 to 2016.

The county has proven iron ore reserves registering in the hundreds of millions of tons. Coal reserves are estimated at 100 million tons.
