Zetton (Ultraman)
Zetton (Japanese: ゼットン, Hepburn: Zetton) is a fictional alien monster or kaiju that first appeared in the final episode of Tsuburaya Productions' 1966 series Ultraman.

Overview
Name
Zetton name comes from the Japanese word, Zetto.[1]
Development
When Ultraman was in production, Eiji Tsuburaya originally wanted to have Saigo to be Ultraman final opponent but due to a tight schedule Tsuburaya and his company decided to make a new monster instead. Zetton was designed by Tohl Narita, Zetton's suit bears a resemblance to western gladiator armor and insects (mainly beetles and cockroaches). Zetton's carapace design is based on that of an Asian long-horned beetle.[1]
