Demographics
According to the statistics of Vasil Kanchov ("Macedonia. Ethnography and Statistics") from 1900, Zrze was inhabited by 485 Macedonian Christian inhabitants.The name of the village was "Ѕрѕе" in cyrillic alphabet later transcribed in latin as Zrze. The first primary school was established in 1907. According to the 2021 census, the village had a total of 39 inhabitants.[1] Ethnic groups in the village include:[1]
