Anexo:Premio Mundial de Fantasía a la mejor novela
El Premio Mundial de Fantasía a la Mejor Novela (World Fantasy Award for Best Novel) se concede cada año a la una novela de ambientación fantástica publicada o traducida al inglés. Las bases del premio establecen que una obra debe contar con más de 40.000 palabras para ser considerada para el premio. Existen otras categorías para relato y novela corta. El premio se ha concedido anualmente desde 1975.
Los nominados y ganadores son elegidos por los participantes y jueces de la Convención Mundial de Fantasía. Se establece una votación en junio para que los asistentes a la actual y las dos previas convenciones determinen dos finalistas, y un panel de cinco jueces añade tres o más nominados antes de votar el ganador final. El jurado normalmente se compone de autores de fantasía y es elegido cada año por la organización de los Premios Mundiales de Fantasía, que tiene la potestad de romper los empates. Los resultados finales se hacen públicos en la Convención Mundial de Fantasía, a finales de octubre. Los ganadores reciben un busto de H. P. Lovecraft.
