Carl Milletaire est un acteur américain né le à New York, New York (États-Unis), mort le à New York (États-Unis).Carl Milletaire was born to Joesph and Antoinia Milletari,as Carlos Milletari, his name was changed to Milletarie for professional purposes.His parents were immigrants from Palermo, Sicily. He was a 1st generation Italian American. 2nd born of 9 children-5 boys Carl, Santo, Umberto(died in infantcy),Umberto,and Alfredo-4 girl's Marionia,Imperia,Santatira, and Elvira. The large family lived in Brooklyn, NY in a tenement (cold flat) apartment. Growing up depression era all the children helped their immigrant parents during this hardest of generations. Marionia and Carl as the two oldest quit school to work. Marionia who barely spoke a word of English became a accomplished seamstress and continued to even as a grown woman, until her marriage to Joesph Aragona. Carl worked mostly industral Labour with his Dad, while continuing to learn acting on the side. All the male children grew up with business minded both Umberto and Alfredo Became sucessful Civil Engineers Only Exception was Santo who sadly struggled with mental illness. Shortly after joining the Military, as all the Milletari boys did, he was admitted to Creedmore Hospital. He was known for saying he could not stand to see his Mother struggling and had a severe depression. The remaining 3 females followed different paths. Santairita married Carlos Palmenteri and became a housewife with one daughter, Imperia who struggled with Lupus her entire adult life became a shut-in. Never to Marry she lived in a small but decent house bought for her by the rest of the family. Marionia and Elvira, who was a sucessful saleswoman and department store manager for Sak's and Macy's took care of their sister until her passing. Married briefly Elvira the second to ypungest is thought to be the only one left alive out of all of them. Alfredo Milletari, the youngest and baby of the bunch passed in 2004. Afterwards, being closest to Elvira, affected her deeply that she feel off the grid. No word what happened to her since.Umberto Milletari, who moved to Fort lee when he married had one son, recieved the Purple Heart as well as the Congressional Medal of Honor. But never would talk about it. Carl's wife Gail seperated from him before his death. But did not divorce him. All four brothers are burried in New York. Following a Military service.Carl was a known as a kind and compassionate gentalman.His Sister's often spoke of faluire on the part of his agent. Mainly his success was held back by his agent's stubbornness and argumentative personality. They also found it insulting how the Screen Actor's Guild paid such a ridiculously low monthly benifit to him. Actor's pay into this,he would recieve checks for 14 cents. It cost more to mail them. They tried to stop them or at least make it a minimum. But no they could not. Nor was it understood why it was so low. 14 cents was not enough to take to the bank. They decided to frame them as a satire. And although his estimated net worth was a million dollars approx at time of death. He lived of Social Security as his family in Los Angelos was thought to have it no one will ever know. He lost his battle with Parkinson's Disease in may of 1994. His last moments were spent with his sister Marionia and Elvira at the Tides Nursing home. Close to the City of New York were he grew up. The children and grandchildren of these first generation Italian American siblings are scattered from NY to FL. With Carl having a long lost step daughter. Wherabouts unknown. " He didn't make it big, but he made it big enough, He didn't get really rich, but he was the richest of us all. As he lived his life doing what he loved" Marionia Milletari-Aragona as quoted after her brother's death in 1994.
