Biographie
Mort très jeune d'une attaque d'apoplexie (accident vasculaire cérébral), Fred Mace débute au cinéma en 1909 à la Biograph Company et a cependant tourné dans de très nombreux films. Il suit Mack Sennett lorsque ce dernier part diriger The Keystone Film Company avec Mabel Normand, Fred Sterling ou Henry Lehrman.
