Barlowodus floralis Märss, Wilson et Thorsteinsson, 2002

  • Holotype: UALVP 44955, scale.
  • Type locality and horizon: At 61.5 m, southern Read Bay section, east coast of cornwallis Island; upper part of Barlow Inlet Formation, Lower Lochkovian, Lower Devonian.

Etymology: From the Latin floralis, meaning flowers, name prompted by aestetically pleasing ornamentation of crowns of scales.
