- Diagnosis: Thallus erectus aut decumbens, terrestris vel saxatilis, raro corticola. Basi cinerascens vel pallide brunnea et apici cinereus vel nigrescens aut rami omnino nigrescens. Pseudocyphellae albae, fusiformes vel fissural. Apothecia rara. Soralia rarissima. Isidia et pycnidia non visa.
