Gracilaria veleroae E.Y.Dawson, 1944
- Type locality: Off the southern end of Isla Tiburon (near Isla Turner), Gulf of California. At a depth of 4-30 m.
- Holotype: Dawson #141a-40; 1940-01-25; . Herb. A. Hancock Foundation 37.
- Note: According to Abbott (1995), Gracilaria veleroae is a synonym of Gracilaria mamillaris (Montagne) Howe as treated by Schneider (1975).
- The correct spelling is veleroae (not "veloroae"), see Dawson, p. 297.
