Heterodermia neglecta Lendemer, R.C.Harris & E. Tripp, 2007
Ecology and Distribution: Heterodermia neglecta s. str. is primarily limited to middle and high elevations of the southern Appalachians in eastern North America, where it occurs on the bark of hardwoods.
