Genus: Hexastylis
Species: H. arifolia H. contracta H. harperi H. heterophylla H. lewisii H. minor H. naniflora H. rhombiformis H. shuttleworthii H. sorriei H. speciosa H. virginica

Name

Hexastylis Raf., 1883

  • Type species: A. arifolium Michx.

Note: Hexastylis is still often recognised at the generic level, but would be best circumscribed in Asarum subg. Heterotropa sect. Hexastylis (Sinn et al., 2015 & 2018). However, Hexastylis sorriei Gaddy, Phytoneuron 2011–47: 2. (2011) has no valid equivalent combination in Asarum according to IPNI and so this genus taxon page has to be retained in spite of the combination Asarum sorriei being published in Sinn (2015).
