- Holotype: EBRG 4653, adult ♀, collected by César L. Barrio-Amorós on 22 March 2002.
- Type locality: “the southern slope of Sarisariñama-tepui, Locality VI, Estado Bolívar, Venezuela (4º25’ N, 64º7’ W), elev. 420 m”.
