Laminaria rodriguezii Bornet, 1888

Type locality: Spain: Balearic Islands: Minorca: [Alta mar al S.E. del Faro de Mahon].
Lectotype: J. Rodriguez y Femenias; 23.iv.1887; 105 to 150 m deep. PC 0564473 (Boisset et al. 2016: 130, fig. 4). Notes: The lectotype is the biggest plant on the lower part of the sheet, and it corresponds with Bornet's Fig. 3 on Planche V.
