Distribution: Siskiyou Mountains (Del Norte and Siskiyou counties, California; Josephine Co., Oregon) and Sierra Nevada (Kennedy Meadows, Tuolumne County, CA).
Ecology and substrate: On bark or wood apparently uncommon in montane to subalpine forests.
