Name

  • Macrocephenchelys brevirostris (Chen & Weng, 1967)

Lectotype: NMMBP 5177 (ex THUP 3078).

Type locality: Tungkang, southwestern Taiwan.

Etymology: Modern Latin brevirostris "having a short beak", from Latin brevis "short"; -rostris "-billed", from rostrum "beak".
