Margyricarpus Ruiz & Pav., Fl. Peruv. Prodr.: 7, t. 33 (1794).

  • Type species: Margyricarpus pinnatus (Lam.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen. Pl. 3[3]: 77. (1898)

Note: This is a view of the genus with Tetraglochin Poepp., Fragm. Syn. Pl. 26. (1833) segregated. Hassler (2020) cf. Govaerts et al. (2020) also see Cialdella & Pometti, (2017) and Funez et al., (2021). Hassler's view is taxonomically unsound as it contains comb. ined. in his species list.
