Type locality: “Tumbez [= Tumbes, Depto. Tumbes], N. Peru [; geographical coordinates 03°34’S, 80°28’W].”

Type locality: “Malca, Cajabamba, alt. 8000 feet,” [on road from Cajabamba to San Marcos; Stephens and Traylor 1983] Cajamarca, Peru.
